Recycling Administration REA information

Dear Experts,

We are staring to think about implementing REA and I will be very glad if you can point me out its main features, or where to get basic information

Addtionally I will like to know if REA covers the following topics:

- Recycling cost calculation

- Is it necessary to have EHS?

- Is there any report to calculate the country specific cost and volumes?

Hi,

the functionality is not new, it used to be an add-on consulting solution from SAP SI for a couple of years before it was moved in SAP ERP standard as part of Enhancement Package 4 due to its popularity with customers across various industries, primarily Retail, Consumer products and High Tech.

It can be activated as part of the enterprise business functions, see the enhancement package 4 documentation:

The technical name of the business function is J_7L_REA_CORE.

Usage requires a dedicated license.

you can find some recently uploaded Quickstarts for SAP Recycling Administration (REA) in SDN. They support an initial set up and give you an overview on the main functions, such as master data maintenance, price calculation and reporting. Depending on the SAP Release, some function may differs from the ones described in the Quickstarts.

Hi all,

in the current system we are using R/3 Release 4.6C with REA (add on),
after upgrade the REA is part of Componente EA-APPL.

I have activated REA business function J_7L_REA_CORE in Tcode SFW5,
now I can see it in customizing 2x times (double), like this:

What can I do with double customizing entries ? How to remowe the 2nd Recycling Administration?

HI All,

Would like to know the feedback from the people who have used REA for their clients.

We also want to setup SAP REA for our clients.

Email contact of the realitime SAP REA configurator will be appriciated.

Since this is IS-REA Application what are the impacts on EHP4 system.

How to activate Swicthes for this IS Function.

Is this Similar to Tcode SFW5 for activating Enterprise add on ?
