Dear Friends,
There are four sampling types
1) 100 percent sampling
2) % sampling
3) sampling scheme
4)Fixed sample
I have a requirement
for certain lot size there is a particalar sample size
For Instance
Fot lots 2 to 90 kgs - sample size is 2 kg
For lots 90 t- 150 - sample size is 3 kgs
and so on
Is there any solution for this
and also i want to know where we will using sampling scheme
Thanks & Regards
Raj
Dear raju
make sure that in QDV2 where you have assigned the sampling scheme doesnot have selection of free inspection point selection.
If this selection is there then this error wil come
give me your feedback

Dear Raju
1) For this you need to activate Dyamic modification rule, DMR. please see the links for the same
Link: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/2d/350d37448c11d189420000e829fbbd/frameset.htm]
2) if you need to do 1 recording for 100 samples maintain summarised recording in sampling procedure

Dear Gajesh,
Thanks very much again
Actually i dont want to use Dynamic Modifiation rule
Let me assign Normal,Tightened,Reduced in sequence
so when i create inspection lot the system first take normal , i belive
is there any way i can change manually in the inspection lot from normal to Tightned or reduced
Also i have question
I created Sampling scheme ind and i assigned in sampling procedure and assigned to inspection plan
but while i creating inspection lot there is a message sampling scheme is incomplete
please all see diagnosis , so may i know what mistake i done in creating sampling scheme
The sampling scheme IND is incomplete
Message no. QD092
Diagnosis
A sampling procedure was assigned to a characteristic in the inspection plan that references sampling scheme IND.
In this sampling scheme, no entry (that is, no sampling instruction) was found for the inspection severity 004, the AQL value 0.000 and for the lot size (for the population) 100.
Keep in mind that the population is not necessarily the same as the lot size. The population is calculated from
the lot size
the conversion factor of the base unit of measure in the sample unit of measure
the factor of the sample unit
Example:
Base unit of measure is kg and the sample unit of measure is gr. The conversion factor is 1000. The factor of the sample unit is 5. As a result the individual sample is 5 grams.
If the lot size is, for example, 20 kg, then the population to which the sampling scheme is applied is 4000 (20 * 1000 / 5). If the calculated population exceeds the maximum allowed value of 10,000,000,000, the maximum value is used if it is entered in the "Lot size" column in the sampling scheme.
Procedure
Maintain sampling scheme IND.
Thanks and Regards
Raj
Hello Raju
Suppose you have a lot size of 10 having sampling size 5 with C1(acceptance number) 1 and D1(rejection number) 3
You have quantitative mic with single recording with a specification limit of 10 to 20
If in actual results if the 3 of the results is outside the spec limits the MIC as whole is rejected. If only 2 results are rejected the MIC stands accepted. The need of acceptance is that atleast one result should be in the acceptance region .
Hope this explains

Dear Gajesh,
Thanks for your valued information
Actually this is the scenario
There is a sampling table
From 10 to 20 - sampling size is 3
From 20 to 40 - sampling size is 5
and so on
Like above there is three table
1) Normal
2)Tightend
3)Reduced
a)Intially they use Normal for first inspection lot for a purchase order for the vendor A
if the continuesly fails for three PO then
they will use Tightened
b) if the the inspection lot for the vendor for 3 POs pass then they change from Normal to Reduced sampling type
As per your suggestion i try to create sampling Scheme
its so perfect for my scenario
I Created sampling scheme as per my requirement , Normal, tightned, reduced
Is the sytem smart enough to change to tightened, reduced from Normal
Please advise me how to handle this scenario
Also i need to highlight even though there is 100 samples , they want to record only one results i mean single results recording for the inspection lot
if you are not clear ,Please do no hesitate to ask me to explain more
Thanks & Regards
Raj
Dear Raju
Sampling scheme is exactly what you require to suffice your requirement. go to QDP1. give the description. Choose normal inspection and define the sampling procedure according to the lot size
please let me know if you have any query

Dear Gajesh,
Thanks very much
Actually i selected sampling Management , now changed it accepts
while i am creating inspection scheme there are many columns like c1 and d1 , from sap help
Acceptance Number , Rejection number , how does it react if put some values when i do results recording in inspection lot
Thanks & Regards
Raj
