ERROR IN SICF

Dear Team,

By mistake i have deleted sapconnect(virtualhost\service) in SICF, now i want to recreate it, while creating is giving error :Error with DB update: rollback(this is PRODUCTION SYSTEM), because profile parameter 'is/SMTP/virt_host_0 asigned to TEST(virtual host\service name) but the name TEST is not there in the list.

If i want to assign 'is/SMTP/virt_host_0' to any other new host(SMTP) its saying 'it is reserved for TEST'

how can i delete this virtual host/service-TEST?

can any one help me......

Hi,

The standard value for parameter is/SMTP/virt_host_0 should be :

Try to set it and see if it solves the problem in SICF.

Practice first in a testbed system before making chnages in the production system...

DEAR TEAM ,

I solved this problem with SAP help.

procedure->goto se16->enter table name(icfvirhost)->execute->select icm_host name->delete

or

delete this entry by using abaper help while writing program.

and create new host by using SICF
