ISBD - Insuffiecint Budgeting is the System status for WBS.

It means that you have exceeded the available budget for WBS.

Eg. If you have done Budgeting of 1 Lakh for Particular WBS,

also you have raised a Purchase Order against it of amount 1.1 Lakhs which is more than available budget.

Then it crosses the Available budget limit, and the system status shows as ISBD.

This can be control by use of AVAC.

Dear Nitin,

We have availability control active, but still we have got this system status of Insufficient budgeting.

Could you explain this.

There is option of Deactivating and Activating CJBW and CJBV. If you do this activity then this can lead to ISBD.

I encountered the same case.

Dear Nitin,

In our case of Insufficient budgeting we have transcation as

Collective Entry of Confirmations &

Goods Withdrawal

Could you explain what does this mean.

Does it mean that the cost booking during these two transcation has exceeded the alloted budget of the corcerned WBS.

If it means that only, then being Availability control active in the system, how has this default occured.

Please suggest .

You might have posted commitment more than available budget, then system activate availability control and also gives system status ISBD insufficient budgeting.

Hi

Have you set the tolerance limit control as a warning? If it is a warning and you ignore it then it will lead to the ISBD status.

Hi,

I found that the Availability control activation status is of the same day as of the wbs creation status date.

If I go by your words, then the Availability control activation status date and Insufficient Budgeting status date should have been the same, which is not the case here.

Please suggest

Hi Hemant,

The tolerence limit has been set as Error for 100.5 usage and warning for 90 usage.

Then if commitment equal to or above 90%, system will give warning and ISBD is set as per Hemant's reply.
