I am installing the CRM 2007 with Netweaver 7.0 SR2
I uam using the CD's packed by SAP
51032257 Java Components
51032266 Kernel
51032641 RDBMS
51033089 Installation Maste
51033090 CRM Installation Export
51033093 CRM Java Components
51033265 NW Java Components
Everything was right until the step "Install Java Engine"
The log says
Call of SDM API autoinstall ends with error code 12. Log file content: \n
Invalid parameter "hostname" for SDM command "autoinstall"
I search in google and SDN, and found the following note
But the advice is not clear for me...
Anyone has another solution??
The box is 64-Bit, I am thinking there are something about it...
Thank you...
Please check note 757692:
However your installation is not finished but Point no.4 in this note says where all the host names specified in SDM.
Confirm if all those are correct.
Also check note 548252 : It says following...
Make sure that the SDM.jar, SDM.sda and SDM.libs files in the directory, from which the SDM autoinstall (an installation CD or the copy of an installation CD) is called, is written exactly as is specified here. (In note 519654, you are suggested to change the file name to upper case after copying the CD contents.)
Make sure that the two directories, which should be SDM_HOME and SDM_ROOT, still do not exist.
Can paste your sapinst.log file here only for SDM autoinstall step error
Also can you tell us what is your OS?
Lets us know...

I have the same issue with the same MEDIA when trying to install a JAVA add-in stack to an existing CRM 2007 ABAP system.
Was there an acceptable solution found for this issue?
Thanks,
Vic
