When I am deploying a Web Dynpro application I get the following error:
Deployment exception : Server sapep did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server sapep at port 50018: sapep
Inner exception was :
Server sapep did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server sapep at port 50018: sapep
Can someone please tell me how this problme should be fixed.
Best Wishes,
John.
Hi ,
Did you deploying your local server or any other client server I mean to asking you.
If it is not a local server you need to add your ip address into your Host file then it works.
I understood your problem ...if U got this problem after giving sdm password ? yes ?
Try this.
Ottherwise check your local portal is up or not.
Thanks

Is j2ee engine configured in your NDS under windows->preferences->j2ee engine
In the j2ee engine view are the nodes green
are you giving the proper SDM password

Hi John
U have to configure the SAP J2EE engine config in windows->prefernces->SAP J2EE engine.
Now name of the server: give the name of the server u want to deploy or its ip address
Port : will (36*100) +SCS instance no. of the server
if ur server is something like this:
servername:500<port no.> then in most cases
SCS instance is port no.+01/02/03
Try this and u can open view
windows->show view->other->J2EE-> J2EE engine
if its all correct than u can see the J2EE engine with whole of the instance being green.
I hope it helps you
Thanks
Srikant
