Dear gurus,
If it is possible to lock the client by scc4 transaction ,if not how we can lock the client in our SAP system.
Thanks in advance
hi
Yes we can lock the required client using the t code SE37 -. SCCR_LOCK_Client = <Client No.>
then mention the client no.
to unlock we use the same t code but the parameter will be different as SCCR_UNLOCK_CLIENT =<Client No. >
Thx
Shilpa

Hi Amit,
U cannot lock a client using SCC4.
To lock a client(means restricting users to login) --- you nee to execute the function module SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT in T-code SE37 and click Execute Icon.
It ask u to enter the client number u want to lock and then click ok to lock.

i have never tried it myself, but many people here mention the function module SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT and SCCR_UNLOCK_CLIENT for that purpose

you can do this by locking all users from this client
you can also delete the client entry in SCC4. that will certainly lock everyone out of this client!
