Changing the Requairement Quantity of a Reservation

Dear Experts,

Just want to know whether we can reduced the requirement quantity of a reservation below than the already issued quantity. If so how you can restrict it and why the system allows it.

There is a setting in SPRO where you define a Modification Profile and this is asigned to the network, you can find it in Operative structure > Network menu.

Just be careful, this changes will afect all the network's with the profile you are changing.

Hi,

If the reservations were created manually, then you can change the reservations at any point of time. There will not be any restrictions. This is the standard behaviour of the SAP system. System created reservations we cant change manually.

We can't control the changes in manually created reservations.
