Activity and therefore PR can not be deleted via cj20n

Hi gurus,

The activity 0050 of network 4006650 created automatically a Purchase Requisition.

Now this Purchase Requisition has to be deleted but the system doesn't allow to delete it via standard ME52 (or ME52N) --> Error message: 'This item is only deletable via the associated production order'.

As said, the 'associated production order' is item 0050 of network 4006650.

The problem is that if we try to enter transaction code CJ20N, select the activity and click on the delete button the system displays a new error message:

'Activity 000004006650 0050 has been assigned material components - Deletion not allowed'.

Could you please let me know how are we supposed to delete this Purchase Requisition if this doesn't seam to be possible neither via me52n nor via cj20n?

I tried to delete the components (they are 2) and the system shows a new error message for each one of them:

'There is still a purchase order commitment for NWA 4006650 0050 0060'

Message no. KO447

Where can I find this PO? This sounds really strange to me as the PR has no PO associated...

you can check the related PO in report S_ALR_87013558.

In that click on Commitment and then on call up report.

you will get the PO number.

OK done. However, I can not see any 'commitment' option.

You said click on 'commitment'... Where is this option? I juts have as selection screen:

Project

WBS Element

Network/order = 4006650

Activity = 0050

Materials in network

Plan version = 0 (Plan/Act - Version).

Were can I see the commitment option?

Hi

I guess your network is released...In CJ20N... select the material component and then delete... You must be trying to delete the activity...

I think u r activity status released. Thou u could delete the components first, u wont be able to delete the activity.

This is seems to be SAP standard behavior.

Hi Marc,

Does your NWA actually has material components attached to it? If yes then you'll first need to delete the materal compnents one by one and then you'll be able to delete the NWA.
