Marketing note

Hi Friends,

Is it possible make marketg note as a mandatory field in customer master data.

it is availble in general data - extras- Texts- Marketing note.

I checked text detemination process, Account group.

Kindly provide some inputs.

Hi Sasikanth

Go to VOTXN and do Text Determination and there you select the object which has been maintained with Marketing note .If you are asking to make Marketing Note a mandatory feild in Customer master data then it is not possible. But when you transfer the Customer master data of Marketing Note to sales order there you can make it this text an incompletion log by maintaining the data in Text determination at sales order header / item level as follows :

Text is obligatory - it wont be displayed and when you try to save the order it will show in incompletion log

second option is maintain the text table and feild names in the incompletion log , so that if you dont do the text determination also , system will ask to maintain the text
