Tax Rates

Dear All,

I am working on a issue. I have a service contract which was created on 01.01.2006. Now in the year 2007, the Tax rates changes from 16% to 19%.

I am able to bill my services at current rate. But the problem is with the contract data. It is still taking the old tax rate of 16%. The user wants to change all the rates to 19% of the contracts both old and new. How can I change the tax rates for my condition type MWST to 19%

Hi,

Change the condition record for mwst for the current date and current % and also change the same in chapter id of the material.

Hi Ashish

As you have created a contract , and the time of creation of contract the tax rate is 16% and now it is 19% then go to VK12 and give the tax condition type and change the From date & To date

say for example in VK12 for MWST maintain data as follows

Tax percentage 16% , From 01.01.2008 To 31.12.2008 Tax code Z1

Tax pecentage 19% , From 01.01.2009 To Till date Tax code Z1
