Object Required error on model import

Hi,

I'm testing the export / import functionality of VC but am getting an error on import. I've followed the following procedure.

1. Created a working model. Saved it and exported it as a GML file.

2. Created a new model containing just a package.

3. Used "Import from File" on the model menu to import. Selected the GML file and selected OK.

4. I get an error dialog popping up with the message "Object Required".

When importing I've tried checking "Merge imported model into this package" and I get the same result.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Hi,

If try to import model to VC in another environment (for example, GML exported in DEV and you try to import to QA/PROD) you should care to declare required systems (JDBC/BW/R3....) in order to use Data Services (BAPI, BW query, DB functions/procedures).

I'm exporting and importing into the same environment to test the functionality. So, I believe this should not cause a problem.
