Promotions are not appering in Outbound process WPMA

Hi,

When i send promotions data through manual outbound (WPMA), system throws an error " No promotions exist for selection" I am able to send all other through WPMA like MC, article data and EAN.

Though i created promotion with all necessary follow on process i am getting this error. What could be the reason behind this error. Have i missed any settings.

Please clarify.....

Have you checked the check box of t code WPMA promotion and also mentioned the promotion name or the no.

In the partner profile have you defined the message types for the promotions for outbound

If not that you have to first

You created the promotion in WAK1.

Did you actually activated it in WAK5?

Please check for your promotion the Header information. The status tab will actually give you the status of the subsequent processes. This has to be B.

Hi,

Thanks for your help in indetifying the problem.

This is the the problem in my promotion. Since we dont have printer connected to our Sandbox server Promotion header says Status A eventhough we issued a print of announcement to screen.

Is there any way of changing the status to B. ( I mean issuing a announcement)

Now we know why it is not sent... that is a good step.

How can you flip it to B...

Well.... SE16 can be your friend for your sandbox test.

For further please try to go into SPRO into

Logistics General

--> Retail Promotion

-->Promotion Type

Select your promotion type and try to configure it in the control area.

Hi Christian,

I am able to change the status to B by issuing the output to Screen. Still the problem exist in WPMA.

I checed the config related config in SPRO, everything seems to be perfect. Is there any other seetings i should check.

Hi ,

Is the promotion at MC level?

Try to send the Promo articles in WDBM. The articles will cary the promo discounts .

If the promo is at MC level send by WPMA.

Since now the header level looks good, there can still be some other issues:

like the promotion is not valid anymore - but I do not think that this is the case.

I would like you to check the table:

WAKR - this is the table of the promotion discounts and the field REB_STATUS has to have also B. The tab to maintain data for this table is the discounts tab.

Also, please check the return of the function module:

PROMOTION_REBATE_IN_SITE in transaction SE37.
