Carry forward of Budget

Hello All,

I am trying to test a scenario, where I am trying to carry forward budget from a project to next fiscal year. I have already budgeted my project.

Now when I run transaction CJCO, my budget is not getting forwarded from 2008 to 2009. Is there something I am missing?

Is there something to be done on FI side to make it possible.

As you told you are trying to carriy forward from 2008 to 2009. Just check that in your budget profile year 2009 is allowed for planning via past and future years for the planning.

Since, commitment are ignored when budget values to be carried forwarded, you should have used CJFC commitment carry forward before you carry forward budgets.

I don' t think that there is something need to be done except your plan version should defined for your controlling area / company code in year of 2009.

It was my bad. I did the budgeting for Overall values and not for year 2008 and hence there were no values for carry forwarding.
