What is your source system? The problem could be change in type of sender systems too. Please explain your scenario a bit.

Hi

My source system is ECC.

data is coming from ECC to XI.

Hey we are getting # symbol from ECC when it is coming to XI it is converting into rectangular box .

It is not an IDOC.Data is coming from the proxy.

Hi Sowmya

Have a look at your RFC connection in ECC that points to XI. The hash char # is used by default when the character cannot be interpreted in the character set. In the RFC dest change to unicode.

Thanks

Hi,

if it worked on SP12 on DEV then it's not a problem of SP12

there must be some other difference between your PRD and DEV landscapes

hard to tell what is it without more details
