Stop Printing Automatically from SQ report

Hi Gurus,

I need suggestions on how to stop auto printing of my background SQ report. I run report from SQ00 and in background with Variant and once executed it creates a spool request and goes to LOCL printer.

I do not need to get the print out but I need to get the list in spreadsheet.

Kindly suggest with your valuable comments.

1) In SU3, Defaults tab, uncheck the checkbox "Output immediately"

OR

2) Instead of "execute immediately", use "schedule" option and then in transaction SM37 change the job from "print immediately" to "send to SAP spooler".
