Confirming actual dates for activities

Is there any way to be able to confirm the actual start date of an activity without confirming the actual end date?

No,

not to my knowledge you have to enter both actual start and actual finish or none of the fields.

Hi Neil,

Indeed you cannot confirm just the start of the activity. The way I understand it is that confirmation is helping you to follow the project progress. If you like to have an information on the start of the activity, you could confirm it partially at the beginning. It will go into status PCNF - Partially confirmed. After the work is done, you may create a final confirmation by ticking the relevant field & update the end date + working hours.

Hi neil,

How can u expect to conferm with out giving last date of activity. After completation of the logic then only u have a chance to confirm, if u want to complete then u need that last date of the activity.
