sales order heuristic

dear friends,

i am using make to order strategy 20. so when sales order is created we run mrp for sales order tr.code md50. mrp plans quantities only for sales order irrespective of available stock because of account assignment.

now when this sales order is cif'd to ppds i want the heuristic to run only for this sales order. is there any heuristich which plans for a particular sales order.

and what palnning procedure is suitable.

Hi sanjeev,

Under this scenario, you can use Planning procedure as 4 ie Planning in Planning run and and heuristic as SAP_PP_009 Rescheduling Bottom-up.

hi senthil,

we get a sales order for a header item. so when you do scheduling bottom up. how will the system know which is the lowest level of a sales order.

i want it exactly like how it happens for sales order mrp md50. its only coz of account assignment.

pls reconfirm.
