How do i attach a symbol in a smartform

How do I include a symbol in a smart form?

from what i checked in the system i found that

1.There are some SAP provided symbols

2.If i want to enter a picture from outside SAP into a smart forms.

Kindly suggest how do i use them and also how do i go about it.Urgent

Hi,

find the below steps for attach a symbol in the smartform

1.Go to transaction SE78 (Administration of Form Graphics).

2.Double-click on u201CGRAPHICSu201D node and click on u201CImport (F5)u201D to import the image

3.Select the file name by using the F4 functionality available. Name your graphic and enter a short description. If you have color image, select the radio button u201CColor Bitmap imageu201D. Click on tick mark to proceed.

4.The graphic is imported and is stored in u201CBusiness Document Serveru201D.

You can test this by selecting print preview

5.Now go transaction SMARTFORM.

Create a new form and give a short description for the same.

6.To display an image, right click on Main Window à Create à Graphic

7.Use F4 help to fill the fields.

Save and activate the workflow.

Test run the smart form, to check the appearance of the graphic

Hi Dilipsing,

Go to text editor:

Include --> characters --> sapsymbols.

Symbols cannot be seen in the print preview you need take print out.

Hi Dilip,

Images already avialable in your sap version can be used by using element 'Graphic'. Right click on page you created (left hand side) then select create-> Graphic.

You can upload images through SE78 and then reuse the same in your form also.

Go to SE 78.UPload u r logo with the name Z*

Come to smartforms.

Cretae a window with the name called LOGO.And give u r name logo in smartforms.

hi,

to upload a picture from outside sap go to t code se78 and click on graphics and den on bitmap images now click on import button on top

whatever picture u want to import browse dat ad give name and other details

then in smartform create a node and inside dat create graphic and give the name and other details of the image .

note: dont forget to import the graphic that u have uploaded into ur transport request. this is done by cliking on the truck button on top of se78

but then what in case of the symbols that are provided by SAP in the Smart forms.

Hi,

First create a graphic node in your smartform. For the name of the graphics here you can directly specify the SAP image name and use it.

hi,

Standard symbols are defined in table TTDTG. This table contains both the name of each symbol and its value

SAP supplies this table filled with standard entries

go to the editor and click on insert and characters and chose sap symbols .

there u acan chose watever symbol u want acc to ur requiremnt
