External access to Solution Manager

Hi All

Is it possible to access a document which is "living" in Solution Manager, from an external/satellite system? For eg. I want a user in FI to be able to access his/her training document in Solution Manager.

Hi Jaco,

if you run solman on internet you can send url of attached document to message (I guess valid for all CRM document).

you can provide this url to the user provided he has of course a valid user id in solman

http://yourserver:yourport/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ags_workcenter?WORKCENTER=AGS_WORK_INCIDENT_MAN&sap-...

select the message containing attachment

go in the transaction data tab of this message

go in the documents tab where you find the list of attached documents

you right click on the desired document and chose the Send as URL to the user.

This was working here today, I made the test with one colleague and this was working

There might be some URL expiration or the URL. This must be investigated further

Hi,

I am not sure how we can directly access the same via satellite there is no std tcode....ofourse you can can call Solar01/02 from your satellite system using the RFC Call.

But it is better if u use..

Solution manager learning maps.

You can create a URL sort of thing by attaching the document to it then send the URL to concerned person.

The best part is they can provide the feedback and you can store the same and later utilze it for reporting.

So it is accessible globaly and they dont have to login to satellite system
