Packing Lists

We have a customer who wish's us to not to combine their purchase orders onto a single consolidated packing list. For every purchase order they want a single packing list but they are happy for us to use one bill of lading for multiple deliveries.

Example: 3 purchase orders can be shipped out on one bill of lading but must have 3 separate packing list delivery note.

Can the above be done in SAP???

Dear Peter

I presume your Packing List is also your Delivery document in which case, in copy control VTLA, you can control in such a way that for one sale order, one delivery should be generated. That is in VTLA, for your item category, if you maintain routine 11 for Business data, you can achieve this.

thanks

To create one delivery per sales order (Customer PO) the system has its own check, like on ship to, Inco term, Shipping Point and the order combination check box in sold to master also play a role in combining multiple orders to a single delivery.

Inorder to create unique delivery per sales order uncheck this 'Order Combination' in customer master. But each delivery will have its own BOL. You can create a single BOL if shipment / transportation is used.

In transportation you can combine multiple deliveries to foem a single shipment and a single BOL.
