RTA 4.0 to 5.3 Upgrade

Hi Experts,

Please let me know the Install/Upgrade approach to upgrade RTA 4.0 to RTA 5.3 on ECC 6.0

Note: Fully aware of fresh RTA 5.3 Install.

Please follow the following OSS notes and upgrade from SAP:

1250521, 1133167, 1133168 and 1243085.

I have gone through these notes earlier.

I'm looking for answers in respect to post RTA 4.0 to 5.3 steps .

Do i need to import ACP in this scenario before SPs applied?

Hi Vijay-

SAP notes 1138018 (Non-HR) & 1138042 (HR), did not give you any clue on how to proceed with upgrade of RTA?

you first install and run AC 5.3 and then upgrade your old RTA to new one by installing the required support packages.

If I read from SAP note, it says

All GRC Access Control support packages are incremental releases, which must be installed individually, in numerical order. So here be aware to install all 5 given SPs.

Thanks for your response, however my question is already we have RTA 4.0 on ECC 6.0 , now can we directly upgrade to RTA 5.3. as below.

1. Install RTA 5.3 Add-on for VIRSANH_530_700 & VIRSAHR_530_700.

2. Import SPs for VIRSANH_530_700 & VIRSAHR_530_700

what are next steps?
