Hide or disable Button (Show List) of MessageArea

Hello everyone,

does anybody know if there is a possiblility to hide or to disable the button of the MessageArea? I could not find a property to do this at designtime nor at runtime.

Where exactly is the button?

If i remember corrrectly it has an icon and the message...

sorry, I forgot to mention that I am developping in Web Dynpro for ABAP (SAP Netweaver2004s SP06). There you have a button "Show List" at the right hand side of the message.
