Hi Experts.
I want to analyze SQL Trace.
Therefore I executed Trace ON by ST05.
But today I checked ST05, trace was OFF,
and I couldn't get trace.
Our instance is restarted everyday(23:00 PM).
And the target Program is executed 1:00AM.
Therefore I doubt that trace switch is clear
after instance restart.
Could you tell me whether it is true or not?
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Toshikazu Takahashi
Yes, the trace will cancel as the instance goes down and be switched off by default when the instance come up. Any particular reason to restart the instace everyday?.... SAP is designed to run months (when properly configured) without restart.

Juan

Hi, Juan.
Thank you for your reply.
I restarted the other system to verify,
and I confirmed that SQLTRACE swith was clear.
And I don't know the reason why System restart everyday.
Because the Implement Vendor isn't our company.
I also think that restar everday isn't necessary.
Thank you so much.
Toshi
