CIF transfer of Sales org data

Hi,

I require the CIF data transfer to happen for the sales organization and the material type from R/3. Is there any SAP note that gives insight how to do transfer these data(MARA Segement). If anyone can help me on this, it would be great.

Hi Karthik,

You can transfer these fields as Free attributes in extra tab of material master.SAP allows up to 5 of these free attribute fields.

Here is how you can transfer the data:

You need to use the Include ZXCIFU01 of function module EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001, with logic like below:

Look up material number and plant form Marc and get the material type form mara.

Align this to any of the 5 free attributes AT-101 through AT 105.

Refer to SAP note 331664 for sample code.

Also look at 1042472 ( this note may not be of much help).
