HTTP connect - ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED - 400 NIECONN_REFUSED

Dear all,

We are using SAP ECC 6.0 and I have created an archive link content repository pointing to an external DMS server. But when I test connection then I get the error :

Error in http access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1

ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

SMICM trace shows error : 400 NIECONN_REFUSED

I ran the following reports:

RSCMSTH0

HTTP interface test using function group SFTP and program saphttp - working showing results received from http content server

RSCMSTH1

HTTP interface test using function group SCMS_HTTP u2013 fails with same error.

The SAP server and DMS server are in different network zones/domains and are in different locations. Network maintenance team has opened the required port 8080 on the firewall, still I am receiving the same error.

Kindly help as I am really stuck in this issue badly.
