***LOG BY0=>ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Hi

We conducted a migration where we moved our Enterprise portal 700 (NW2004s) from

Windows to Linux (Redhat 5.2). Our portal was installed as a central

system on the source system and when we moved it to the new environment,the Database and central system reside on different hosts.

When we execute a trans -d we get the error ***LOG BY0=>ORA-01017:

invalid username/password; logon denied

Is there anything that we need to do on the Central instance side to

allow for the connectivity to work between the CI and DB?

Thank you so much for you response. It turns out that the dbs_ora_tnsnames =<SID> environmental variable was not set on the CI for user <SID>adm

I put it in and it worked
