DIP Profiles

Calling on all experienced PS consultants that have DIP experience.

I have a very peculiar business to cater for and am not too sure how to configure the DIP profile.

The client works with highly complicated project structures. For a specific RRB process, the client wants to work with fixed price rather than cost plus. In this scenario they want to be able to do all the confirmations at the normal levels but they want one single line item on the sales document - both quotation and invoice.

I have to be honest my experience with DIPs is not that extensive. Can someone please help me with this? I have asked the same question in PS but got no replies.

yes it is possible

use level in SD item category and roll everything to high level from costing in DIP

for pricing set fixed proice using SD pricing conditions

I don't want to sound too pushy, but how can I achieve this this? What characteristics should I select for my usage, sources and material determination?

check SAP help for documentation in the areas I have commented

unfortunately this is a very complex scenario and I cannot go into more detail if you have no idea about it talk to your SD consultant
