Dear All,
I am installing mySap ecc5 on distributed environment . I have installed central instance and installing database instance on another host .
at the mid of the database installation , The dispatcher of central instance is stopped . pl. find the develper trace below .

there should be the information, why the work processes die

Hi,
I have gone through the log , but i am not getting what is the problem . I have not changed any password . Oracle client is installed on central instance . I am logged in through <sid>adm user . I thing authorization problem will be there.
I have also entered the host entry in hosts file .

Hi,
The problem seems to be with ABAP message server port. It seems that it is already in use by another application and Dispatcher is unable to listen thru that port.
First Check in /etc/sevices file for the port. ( you can see the ABAP port in START/Instance profile)
You can check this by using below command at OS level.
netstat -an|grep <portnumber>
