Charm status mail notification creation

Hi All,

I configured Change request mang. in my solution manager server. now i want to create msg notification for all status changes in charm msg flow, like when change request approved by advisory board a automatic mail should generate for change manager.same as we use in service desk for mail notification.

So please let me know few things which may be used for this activity.

1. PPF application

2. Action Profile

3. Action definition entry

4. smart form.

if any more input require , please let me know...

Hi,

You should use the same kind of actions that you use for your servicedesk mail. Other option is to use workflow. Which would require custom development atleast a week of an ABAPers effort. There is no standard workflow template.

Hi,

You need to create an action in the action profile of your change document.

there is no difference in creating an action for your Servicedesk or Change Request...

its only your action profile for your transaction type (can be servicedesk or ChaRM).

First try to understand what is the transaction type and action profile you are using.

Your question is already answered.

Hi,

In the action profile change the action profile from "SMSD_ABA_MLDG_SERVICEVORGANG" to "SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO".

Press Save and Exit the transaction.

You have not set a simpler action profile which requires less customization configuration and effort to get the message flowing.
