Production client copy to Quality server - SCC8 - SCC7 - SCC9

Former Member

Hi,

I'm trying to copy our whole Production server (PRD) client into a freshly installed Quality server(QAS).

No option for system copy due to some reasons. Database size is of 170GB.

I've tired SCC8 from PRD. KT and KX gets created but background work process goes on hold status (Reason - RFC ) while creating KO.

I've tried Remote client copy from QAS. But it there are many missing tables in QAS so SCC8 ends with errors.

Earlier we had a two tier system (DQG - PRD) now I'm including Quality (DQG - QAS - PRD) i.e. Three tier system.

What do you suggest? Is there any workaround possible? Can I ignore the missing tables? If yes then how do I do it?

Please suggest.

Thank you in advance,

Pranay

Can anyone help?

Dear,

Praney.

This was the same problem what is was facing while doing Remote client copy from PRD to QAS Server.

For this the best solution is SYSTEM copy.

Please go with this option....

Hi,

As I said.. System copy is not an option for me due to few reasons.

Hi Pranay,

System copy will be the best option here.

If you want to remote client copy then you can ignore the error and proceed.

System copy not an option for me.

I've referred to Note 70290 - CC-INFO: Excluding tables with 'RSCCEXPT'.

It says :

*************************************

Start the RSCCEXPT report (for example using transaction SE38 or SA38) in the target system of the client copy (if there is just one table only in the source system in a remote copy, this table must also be excluded from the source system prior to Release WAS 6.20). An exception list is displayed.

Up to Release 4.6D, you can include a table in the exception list by clicking "Add table". In later releases, you can simply enter the table into the list. Save the entry.

**************************************

Still same error. 'Table definitions missing'.

For remote client copy/export-import, the support package of the sourse and the target system should be the same. Otherwise you will get the similar table conflicts.

Meanwhile, you have opened 3 threads for the same question. please close the other 2 threads.

goto SE01

Create Workbench

Classify as Development/Repair

Program ID R3TR and Object Type TABD <yourtable>

release and move this to target system

Hi,

Even after transporting these tables i'm still getting this error:

AFRU Field Missing Locally PP-SFC-EXE-CON CORU

A600 Table missing, remote SD-MD-CM VKOK

CE1TTRL Table Missing Locally CO-PA KEG0

CE2TTRL Table Missing Locally CO-PA KEG0

CE3TTRL Table Missing Locally CO-PA KEG0

ZMAT_TRNCOST Table Missing Locally Z_FI

ZMKT Table Missing Locally Z_SD

ZMM01 Table Missing Locally Z_MM

ZMM02 Table Missing Locally Z_MM

ZMM03 Table Missing Locally Z_MM

ZMM04 Table Missing Locally Z_MM

ZSIT Table Missing Locally Z_SD

I'm using SE03 to include these missing tables in the ransport request. I've checked in the traget system SE11 and these tables have come in the target system. Still the above errors.

Please help

Thanks,

Pranay
