CLient copy with sap_prof from production to one of our development client

We have our development system with 3 clients

Our Quality system with one client

Production system with one client

I want to copy just the roles and profiles from our Production system to one of our development clients.

I know this will overwrite any profiles/roles in my development client.

This should not overwrite the current users in my development client ??

I just want to refresh all the roles/profiles from my production system without the users to one of my development client.

If I run a client copy with sap_prof in my development client this should accomplish what I want.

A copy of SAP_PROF will do exactly what you want. It will copy roles & profiles, replacing what you have in the target system.

It will not delete or add to the existing users.

Make sure that you have the same organisational levels defined in each system or it could cause some problems on the import.
