IDE Freeze upon "create model"

Hi,

As soon as I click next after selecting any of the Model Types in the "Create Mode" wizard, the IDE freezes and needs to be restarted.

I am using the jdk 1.5.0_17

Any idea?

Hi,

In case you are using 04s - the jdk version is incompatible. You will need 1.4.2_08 - i believe - you cancheck the requirements in the "Downloads" section. A reinstall is required.

In case you are using NWDS CE 7.1 - an error may have occured during the installation. Again reinstallation is required.

In either case, try closing and restarting the NWDS first before installing anew.

Note: Backup all your data and development work.
