Cross-warehouse SUM

Hello,

I have a requirement to carry over Storage Unit numbers across 2 different warehouses. We have product that we put into a Storage Unit. This unit is issued from on location via STO and then received into another warehouse. When the receipt occurs in the destination warehouse, we need to be able to use the same SU number so we don't have to relabel the product. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

I guess you would need to use Handling units. The HU become's the SU number, after picking, the SU number becomes the HU again etc etc. Do you already use HUM?

We are using some of HUM.

Hi,

You only use the shipping part of HUM and no HUM's in WM? In that case it is difficult. In case you use HUM in WM, the HU from shipping becomes the SU in WM and when you ship out again, you pick the SU and this becomes the HUM again. In that case, yuo can keep the same ID cross plant.
