Error while deploying.

Hi,

I am trying to deploy the web dynpro application in my home system by using public IP of server.

But while Deploying i am getting error. But the status of the of SDM in J2ee engine is fine ,i e that is in green state only. Here is the description of the error.

Settings

SDM host : 10.10.20.171

SDM port : 50018

URL to deploy : file:/C:/DOCUME_1/NARAYA1/LOCALS~1/Temp/temp174Example.ear

Deployment exception : Server 10.10.20.171 did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server 10.10.20.171 at port 50018: Connection timed out: connect

Inner exception was :

It is solved by writing some line in Host file.

I am also getting the same error , pls provide me the information where to write and what to add to host file

Hi,

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

In the above given folder there will be file called hosts in that file put a line like this at the end.(open that file as text file)

221.220.123.214 jktr3

Here one is public IP of the server and jktr3 is the server name of server your using.

Then u will be able to run the application successfully.

Check this in your system.

Hi Swathi,

Please check that port 50018 and 50000 are open in your firewall settings on the server.

try to refresh the server once and check it and also check IP address and SDM.

Hi,

10.10.20.171 is the local LAN IP. And i am giving the Public IP in the j2ee engine Message server host and message ser port value i have given it as 3901.

Restart the J2EE server and try deploying the Application again....
