Hard time learning WDA

Hi,

I am really having hard time to learn WDA, I nowhere find any help which can actually tell you what component does what...online resopurces are just full of solutions, like if you want to create ALV do this, if you want to create selection screen do this way...and so on... But I need to know the functionality of components, controllers, their purpose when to use and all that stuff...Is there any such doc in the universe.

check Webdynpro wiki for learning abt ALV and other simple applications. It is rich with code snippet.

Suman, I have gone thru the sap help and most of the times its down...or does not display most of the pages

Sravanthi, the link that you provided only tells how to create a certain object, if I have do some changes in that object as per my req, I need to understand what and why of the components/elements/controllers being used.

This is the issue I am facing.
