i have created a custom page format in development i would like to transport this to quality. could i know how to do it ?

Create a request and save the objects from the Package , the one which we need and delete rest of the objects which u do not need. save the request and release .
this solves the problem
During the creation there was a transport request created, no? You have to release it using SE09/SE10 and import it on QA using transaction STMS.
