Hi Folks,
I am creating a scenario in PI 7.1 in which I need to trigger alert whenever any message fails on receiver adapter.
I have created an alert category in ALRTCATDEF transaction and I am able to trigger the alert by executing the report RSALERTTEST but when I am trying to access Alert Configuration and Alert Inbox in Runtime Workbench, it's not allowing me to enter into it.
The user ID which I am using has all the authorization (SAP_ALL) but still it's not allowing. It's giving me error HTTP 401 - Unauthorized.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Regads,
Varun

a) on your XI box go to TCODE - SE38 and run program - RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES
b) check SAP note: 750287 (XI 3.0 Runtime Workbench: Alert configuration does not start) and change values in your ExchangeProfile

Hi Varun,
For Alert Monitoring .
In Exchnage Profile. (under RWB---central monitoring)
We have to maintain the host name: maintain FQDN.
Maintan the ABAP port.
After miantaining this restart is needed to reflect your change.
Note: Also check the internet explorer for any type of restriction for opening this URL.
Regards
Sunil.
I thnk the issue is of FQDN.
Maintain the FQDN in exchange profile of RWB.

Sunil.

Hi Sunil,
Can you please let me know the steps that I need to follow for maintaining FQDN in exchange profile of RWB.
Dharamveer, I have tried the solution given in your link. I maintained the FQHN in icm/host_name_full but unfortunately it didn't work.
Still I am not able to open Alert Configuration in Runtime Workbench.

Varun

Specific ICF nodes have to be activated in Transaction SICF for BSP extension --> alertinbox
Please try doing it

Hi Varun,
Please check this by executing tcode SICF
sap->bc->bsp->sap->alertinbox right click on it and test service. It should be active and working.
