HI,

i have create vc material ,characteristics/class & config profile

BUIt while creating the sales order - message

Configuration not possible for materi

Reason 3 --> Help

3. A configuration profile has not been maintained

or

A configuration is not permitted for the material

or

4. The configuration profile of the material allows or requires the bill ofmaterials to be exploded during order processing. However, the system could not determine a date because important data is missing from the item (see incompletion log).

Hi

In that sales order select the line item and go to the procurement tab and see what is the requirement type maintained there?

Go to OVZH and see what is the requirement class assigned to your requirement type?

go to OVZG select your requirement class and go its details

There is a control there whethere configuration is must or not reqd like that and change according to your requirement

Hi,

Please check the following:

u2022 In sales order go to Extra  Configuration and check what the error is.

u2022 Check that default delivery plant is maintained in Material master

u2022 Check configuration profile in Tcode: CU42

u2022 Check the item category it should be TAC.
