Hi all,
i am trying to execute scenario where ERP is triggering idocs and send to XI.
i can see them in outbound side of ERP in we02 but its not reaching XI.
i am not understanding what could be the problem.
pleae suggest.
Thanks in advance
Chris.
Hi Chris,
Create the port for the ERP system in IDX1 and assign the idoc type to the port created in IDX2 of the PI system. Port name should be same as that of SID of the ERP system.

Hi,
Check in IDX5 in SAP-PI whether it has reached the PI; If it is not present in IDX5. This means the idoc has not reached to PI. Check with SAP folks. There mustve been problem while creating destination in SAP. Check with SM59 transaction for the same.
Hope your problem has been resolved.
Thanks
Nikhil

Hi,
check you rfc destination from R3 to XI system and do the connection test as well as authorization test.
sometimes it happens due to wrong passwords maintained in rfc.
as the experts have suggested check in IDx1 and IDx2 as well.
in IDX2 if ur able to sucessfully get the idocs then ur rfc is working.
on r3 side also check ur partner profiles etc.
if all this does not work delete metadata in idx2 and import again.
keep us updated
many thanks
cheers

Hi,
Check the port in your partner profile in WE20 is having the correct RFC in it and then test the RFC if it is working fine or not.

hi,
I'd say you didn't maintain IDX1 in XI correctly but
this book shows step by step config for IDOC - XI scenario with screenshot details

Check transaction sm58 at the sender system and check for errors there.
