Hello

I wander what large subdirectories in /sapmnt/<SID>/global with names 001BDCLG, 000JOBLG, SLOGJ, SLOGJO means. They consume almost whole filesystem and they are old. Can I delete them?

Hai,

001BDCLG, 000JOBLG are the Job logs for client 001 and 000.

SLOGJ, SLOGJO are the system logs for Instances.

You should not delete them directly from the OS level, in order to reorganise them SAP has provided some standard jobs. These jobs should be scheduled in your system to run everyday with specific intervals.

You can control the size of the system log files with parameters, check the below link.....
