Hi
This Idoc posts purchase order commitments to R/3. This Idoc is triggered only if you have a local purchase order.

Hi all,
Still i'm not sure. I belive we use this IDOC for standalone Process.
Standalone process happens in SRM. Will this send any information (commitement posting ) to R/3 ?
What kind of information send it to R/3?
Thanks and regards
Harish

Hello Harish,
The BBPCO is useful for standalone scenario where no PO is created in the backend thus no commitment without this message type. In other scenarios, we don't need BBPCO.
PO will be created by BAPI & commitments will be posted similar to a manual PO in backend.
See more details on thread
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi Harish,
IDOC-BBPCO is for commitment posting. I think in classic scenario this idoc never triggered. It books the commitement in backend system.
Thanks
Ravi
