Hello All,
New at SM, the question is, in our project all the Blue Prints are stored in SM, now in the project documentation tab, what is the meaning of the status, for example it says "released" or "complete".
is this the way to track what stage the develpment project of that document is?, does it mean all the devloping off that blue print has be finished in SAP.
Regards
Hi,
The status of the document would imply -- what is the current activity performed on that document.
For eg: Say a document status is "In Process", this means the document is not completed yet, the owner is still working on that. Say a Technical Specs, the ABAPer is working on that.
It can then be set to "completed", if the status is completed it means it has to be reviewed by someone, you may take a Team Lead. Then the status would change to "Review".
The status would mean the completeness of the document.
You can incorporporate Digital Signature, to ensure ownership of the document.
Hope I made it clear.
Feel free to revert back.
