What features when integrating in portal

Hi,

I'm looking for documentation on the extra features you can access from your web dynpro application when you integrate it in the portal.

I.E. portal eventing.

Are there any how to documents, blogs relating to this ?

Currently , I havn't found much except how to just insert your app as a web dynpro Iview.

This dosn't really give much extra features except sso and perhaps themes...
