Hello,
is it possible to have an timeout-branch for the initial receive-step of a ccBPM process?
Is it possible to simulate that in PI?
So e.g. the process has to be triggerd all 6 weeks by the sender-system and if it is not triggered, there should be sent an error-message to the administrator.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I thought an instance of an IP get's created if a message is received in the inital step.
So I don't think you could have a timeout for a process that wasn't created.
@Prateek: How is it possible?

Patrick

Yes
So e.g. the process has to be triggerd all 6 weeks by the sender-system and if it is not triggered, there should be sent an error-message to the administrator.
For this case, you should not open a single BPM instance. Otherwise the same instance have to remain active for 6 weeks which would be a poor design. You should look for some other condition.
