Self Certified Vendor

Hi All,

One Quick Question :

I need to declare some vendor's QM Process as Self certified for which the Inspection Lot should not be created despite of Active Insp Type 01.

I have a declare the Actaul QM system as "certified" in OQB7 and in Q Info Record for that Material & Vendor Combination assigned this as the Existing QM System.

Is there something else that needs to be taken care. I am missing something as Inspection Lot is still getting created while I do the GR for the Purchase Order.

Any pointers will be helpful.

Dear Ravi,

For Q - Info Record (QI02) put value as "No Inspection" in the field Insp. control, under Insp. control Tab.

It will skip inspection lot creation for the material vendor plant combination, though the inspection type is active.

I realised there is another drop down at the same location as you suggessted saying "Inspection Active if vendor not certified".It works as per my requirement.

I had earlier by mistake made selection as "Inspection Active independent of vendor certification"; therefore it was creating Inspection Lot.
