If the netwrok is Rel & not any type of cost postings is done on network/ activity than you can directly delete the same as we dose in CRTD status.

(Click on network in Cj20n -->right click --> Delete -->save)

But is costing doc. is assigned to network than you must first archive the network before you can delete the data from database.

The same is true for all PS cost capturing object like WBS, Activitty etc.

For details refer this link

Ok ! Give a lst try with this

Make sure that no costing document has been assigned to network/ activity

First delete all the activity assigned to network & lastly delete the netwrok header.

Dear Nitin,

Im checking in quality.....

Just now i have craeted new project...one wbs...network.

when it is CRTD stage its allowing me to delete.(i cant see further in cj20n)

if i relaese then its allows me to activate Deletionflag only.(I dont want to see the network in project)

Is the SAP Standard behaviour wht?

Chandra,

You are right ! It seems that this is standard behaviour of system. After REL we can delete WBS / Activity but not Network. I was under impression that we can delete Netwrok as well. You can cleared my doubts as well. Thanks !

If some one has any other opinion than please share.

Hi Chandra

If any commitment is present you can delete the network. For example if any PR is generated against an activity. In this case you'll have to first delete the PR & then set the deletion flag for the network.

Other than that you can use CN98 for deleting Standard Network

Thanks

Dear Amaresh,

Yes i understood your view.

It means...after releasing network....we can put only Deletion flag..?

can u plz clarify whether i can delete operative network physically from cj20n.

I can delete when it si having status CRTD.

But when it is released how?

I have rewarded points

Chandra
