smartforms - language

Hi expert,

I copied a smartform in an other language, and when I run a test the page in output is empty.

So, i dont understood what's happened for the language, I have to change some parameters to use the form ??

If u are trying smartform for mutiple languages

no need to copy smartfom into other language.

eg create smartform into english and your requirement is to show it in different languages.

then use se63 transaction to change language.

Go to tranx SE63:

--> Translation

-

---

> Abap objects

-

---

>Other long texts

-

---

> FS Forms and Styles

-

---

>SSF SAP Smart Form

-

---

> Give your smartform name and change text accordingly

While using se63 transaction check your smartform is not open in change mode.

If smartform is open in change mode, chages are not reflected.

Rename the text node %text17 to welcome to the demo and then translate.

Hi

In general attributes, Language Attributes tab, Translate.

Select 'To Selected Languages'. Click on the button. Select the languages.And hit enter.

Also it is necessary for your system to support these languages.

v have to give the text in target language

chk out the step in the link after entering the src and target language.

If done so,ur for will not be empty

it's ok, but I have a variant:

I have %TEXT7 instead "Welcome to the demo".

And inside a %TEXT7 I have:

Poursuite N° &IS_S_DOSSIER-BETRNR&

Parvenu le &IS_S_DOSSIER-AUSGEST&

Now, How Can I transalte %TEXT7 ??

hi roberto,

check have to checked in your smartform, in your form attributed and in general tab have you checked translate to selected languages radio button and selected the lang. if yes then try the following.

try this goto se63 and Translation>R/3 Entrerprise>other long text>Forms and Styles>SAP smartform:

give your smartform name and the source lang and destination lang and click on edit.

Check the translations are present for the texts when copied to FR in SE63, if the translations are fine then page will not be empty

I tried but not run.

In other word, I have a form in language DE, I log me in french FR, and i copied the form, so the new form is in FR. I run the test and nothing on the page !!!

With se63 t-code, i active the translation but without results... all is like before !!

any idea ?
