Hi all
We need to develop and compile RFC Client and RFC Server program using RFC SDK 7.0 for the Windows Server on IA32 32bit. This program will enable the RFC communication between different SAP R/3 servers through RFC Destination of Type u2018Tu2019 i.e. TCP/IP. The RFC programs need to be registered on the R/3 server who is going to handle the RFC calls from other R/3 servers.
We need to know whether any alternative procedure for compiling these programs. Please let us know whether we should installVisual Studio .NET 2003 on R/3 server where we want to register these programs or it needs to be installed and compiled on different standalone machine.
Based on our understanding the required libraries for compilation of these RFC programs are available on Application Server of R/3 so the compilation has to happen on the same server where
we are going to register this program.
