Restart IPC

Can any one help how to restart IPC from SAP if not from WEB UI.

Hi,

We need to use tx code SM52 to restart IPC. From a Basis perspective its a deactivation and activation of VMC which needs be done in tx code SM52. Check out the menu option and deactivate and activate VMC. This restarts IPC.

Hai,

Login at the OS level with the user created to administer IPC at os level. It should be IPCADM.

Go to path /usr/sap/SID/ipc/bin and the execute ./ipc stop -l and ./ipc start
